"A truly heartfelt thanks to John for all of your assistance in my boat purchase.

From the first phone call, all the way to the day I came to take the boat home, you were a thorough gentleman, assisting me every step of the way.

The only regret I have is that I initially doubted your sincerity after reading the "china-gate" review form one of your customers who claimed that you did not disclose the fact that an engine in a boat he purchased from you was a Chinese knock off. In my opinion, this review is misleading and disingenuous at best because the person should have done his due diligence, as I did, before completing the transaction.

He should have hired someone to do a survey, as I did and then had a mechanical inspection done, as I did with your assistance.

You were always forthright and told me that you are not making any representations and that the information you have about the boat was given to you by the boat's owner. Under these circumstances, it clearly was my responsibility to have the boat examined by a professional before buying it to make sure it meets my expectations; blaming you for my shortcomings in not doing a pre-inspection is ridiculous, and I am so glad I did not turn away from this deal because of this misleading review as I would have missed a fantastic opportunity of buying the boat that I did which my family and I are thoroughly enjoying.

Thank you, John, for your honesty and integrity. I consider myself very fortunate to have met you and purchased my very first boat through you. A boat we will continue to enjoy for many years until it's time to upgrade to a bigger boat, which I hope to buy from you as well!"
